It has been a busy start to the term in Area 1 and we would like to share what has been happening in our learning time with the school community.
On Friday’s we are trialling an afternoon shakeup where we hold a general knowledge quiz with questions based on our learning over the past week as well as some other challenges. We have also started practical activities in literacy, numeracy, rich task and technology.

The students in Area 1 are taking a proactive approach to develop the essential habits for a healthy lifestyle.
We are going to use a pedomiter to count the number of steps we take each day to find the daily class average. We aim to get enough steps to walk around the world by the end of Term 4!

We started in Disney Land, Orlando in the USA. We have now travelled to Angel Falls. Do you know any interesting facts about this area?
